HUGO Restaurant consists of 2 floors and a summer terrace. It is located on Bolshaya Yakimanka, in Moscow, not far from the French Embassy. The restaurant was already open and operating, but the owner wanted to make it more lively, cozy, and stylish. The task was to stay within a small budget and a very short time frame for implementation. It was not about design, but about decoration.
Area: 270 sq.m.
In the first hall, we painted murals, complemented the interior with beautiful items, changed curtains, tablecloths, and added moldings - ceiling cornices... In the second hall, which was a bit gloomy due to the lack of windows, we printed Versailles interiors as photo wallpapers and pasted them on the walls, adding more light. We repainted some furniture pieces, added vases, flowers, and various beautiful items.
The summer terrace was done in a similar way: we printed fragments of classical French architecture on banners. We added white tablecloths, beautiful cypress trees in pots, and selected lightweight furniture and lighting fixtures.
The interiors of the restaurant do not precisely reproduce 19th-century French interiors, but they convey an atmosphere of romance in a colonial style and a touch of Parisian chic.
